Quarter Acre 2016 Sauvignon Blanc
Library stock.
After a few years in bottle, the 2016 is now showing some lovely complexity to balance it’s youthful fruit intensity. Toasty, smoky aromas combine with leesy characters from its time resting in barrel. Some riper flavours of peach and pineapple are matched with some of the more typical lime and pear flavours, the acidity is still an important part of this wine that retains a lovely freshness and length.

Quarter Acre 2017 Sauvignon Blanc
Library stock.
The wine has character, richness and complexity to burn. It’s dry with a crisp acidity and has a mineral chalkiness to it when first poured. Given a few minutes in the glass, the irrepressible Hawke’s Bay fruit intensity jumps out of the glass and you’re left in no doubt, lime juice, fennel and passionfruit…. Sauvignon Blanc.
