Bubbles for our bubble.
Tonight, by some kind of marvellous technical hook up, we’ll be celebrating my bro’s birthday by popping a cork and catching up with fam around the country. Usually this involves way more clinking of glasses, eye gazing and hugs...but a birthday’s a birthday, right? Happy Birthday Ben. We ♥️ you! ... See MoreSee Less
Golly we’d like to thank everyone who has supported us by ordering online. We really would. We understand we are in a lucky position to still be able to sell our wares. And we’re truly, deeply grateful for your support. ... See MoreSee Less
But we have a couple cool new bottles I’d like to share. Thanks max from Unit Design for the super cool new labels for our latest One Off series. Three more to come.
PS. Lee Warren you are a bloody master! Ain’t no glory in trying to shoot bottle labels at home! #strugglestreet ... See MoreSee Less
(But, hey, you’ve probably got time...?!!)
Like the rest of the country, we're a little side-swiped by the predicament we find ourselves in. At the winery and in the vineyards we are grateful to be considered an 'essential business' which means that the 2020 ripper-of-a-harvest can continue. This, of course, brings with it a massive amount of responsibility and a whole swathe of precautions. It's a huge task, one we're not undertaking lightly, and we're thankful for our dedicated crew of the most amazing people who are helping to pull this off. We've been given the green light to keep the cogs turning and the lights on, and so we will.
Doubling up on that, we're also allowed to continue to ship wine around New Zealand. So while our Cellar Door is locked down nice and tight, our website store will be open 24/7 with free shipping (no code needed, it will automatically kick in) should you need it. We'll be taking all necessary precautions as we pack the boxes and get them on the way to our lovely wine friends, but you may wish to do the same at your end upon opening them.
Mostly though, we just wanted to send you a big old dollop of love as you hunker down for a month. Who knows, this could be the making of us...learn a new language, teach an old dog new tricks, hone your card skills, take up macrame, mow a bowling green on your front lawn, write tasting notes, master morse code...the list is endless!
Thanks for your support. Do take care. Look after each other. Stay home.

From 5pm tomorrow our Cellar Door will be closed until we ride this wave. Quite rightly we are not an ‘essential service’, but you and our most wonderful TAE crew are certainly 💯% essential to us. So please take care, be kind, stay safe and smile.
Tomorrow (Tuesday 11am-5pm) we are only open for bottle sales, no tastings or food, closing until further notice at 5pm. And we can courier anywhere anytime by ordering via our fully equipped website. You take care now y’all. x

We’re still open.
Yes, we are. Seven days a week, 11am-5pm. A few changes and extra precautions, but we’ll be open as long as we can...you bet ya. So if you feel like it, there’s a spot on the deck in the sunshine for you. Sun + fresh air = jolly good.
