Well, hold the phone...
..it just keeps on getting better from Mr Bob Campbell! Bright and breezy. And about Rod...

"...his love for the wines he makes also comes shining through. They are the product of joy..."

Bob gets it. You've gotta check this out...👇

Shining Chardonnay.
Yesterday, this shimmy show-pony Chardy here was named Wine of the Week NZ by Mr Bob Campbell MW in The Real Review and awarded a lovely 96/100 to boot. Not only that, but he gave its more reclusive cousin - our Trademark 2016 Syrah (seen here in the shadows) - 95/100. We’ll that’s jolly nice for us. Only thing is, and I’m not just saying it, we’re rapidly running low on both. Rip in while you can! Be a shame to miss out on a wine Bob quite likes.

Congratulations! 🥳🍾

The gift that keeps on giving...
Now, you know that we're never going to get all tinsel and red-nosed about Christmas out this way, but here's a little thought..if you're after a pressie for the wine-lover in your house how about signing them up to our Drinkers+Keepers wine club?

It's an annual subscription wine club with plenty of bells and whistles. There are 4 wine shipments a year and the ability for you to pick how many bottles (3-12) from 4 different packages...honestly, there's more flexibility in that than a hot Bikram yoga class!

Check out on our website for full deets ...we'll even pop a welcome aboard bottle in the post so there's something chunky under the Xmas tree. And just thinking about that, perhaps email us directly when you do sign up and we'll arrange for that to happen so that the cat isn't let out of the bag before the big day! (jo@teawangaestate.co.nz)

Anyway, just a thought.

We ❤ D+K's!

My father loved his D+K gift ! Perfect present 🎁

** The Residency **
See what happens when you have a bro who's a fab musician...we invite him in and he decides to stay... for THREE Sunday Sessions! And therefore it's probably no surprise to those who know Ben's music that we're pretty jolly happy with this arrangement!

Kicking off this coming Sunday with Part A - Ben's Collective ft. Ben Throp, Willie Devine (Tropical Downbeat Orchestra), Anton Wuts (Revolutionary Arts Ensemble) And Jason Johnston (Jakob), with support from the Akina Vinyl Appreciation Society.

So good Sunday Session-ites, put down your Christmas shopping list, step away from the wrapping paper and move on out from Santa's Grotto and join us on the hill at our first-ever Artist in Residency Sunday Session, with the most fabulous Ben Throp playing a smorgasbord of songs with a band of mates who just happen to be some of the bay's best musicians...dang tooting right they are.

Hang out.
If you feel like hanging out with us, like Arlo here, you may be pleased to know we are now open 7 days for summer. Well, as of 11am tomorrow we will be. Seven whole days of Te Awanga Estate. What more could you want?!

Locals.
John Talbot turned 86 yesterday so he drove some of his family and friends up to us for lunch. He’s lived in Te Awanga since 1968. That’s as long as Rod is old!! We love locals.
