Syrah 2018
With a stellar pedigree (International acclaim of the Trademark 2015 + 2016), this is the new vintage of our flagship wine from our Trademark Syrah vineyard planted on a sloping limestone hillside overlooking the Tuki Tuki River. Hand picked, rested in French oak barrels in our cellars for 18 months.
For all its ripeness, the wine has retained a vibrancy and great complexity on the nose, with hints of violets, clove and spice. The palate is plush with typical blueberry, sweet tobacco, black cherry and subtle white pepper notes. Supple chalky tannins provide a structure that promises time in bottle will be rewarded. Syrah is 100% our jam!
